We’ve just made a much-needed addition to the Quality PM Team. Now introducing Caroline O’Rourke as our new Design Coordinator! Caroline comes to us at the perfect time as we continue to grow at a blazing speed. After she gets a few months under her belt, she’ll take over a few major parts of our Design Process. Especially our Selections Meetings, where she will expertly guide our clients through selecting appliances, finishes, and more.

Who is Caroline O’Rourke?

“I grew up in the Capital Region, and my family has always been in the construction trades. My father owned his own business (William J. O’Rourke Concrete) when I was growing up. And being around all of that kind of inspired me to get into the industry. So I went to school for carpentry and construction management, which I totally loved. Now I’m a proud owner of a few investment properties and currently working on remodeling another.

What about our team made you want to be a part of it?

“I wanted to come to Quality PM because I know they have such a great reputation in the area and are known for great remodeling work. I wanted to be a part of that and now here we are! haha”

What’s your role here?

“I’m the new Design Coordinator here, which means I’ll be the one helping clients make their selections and ordering the materials for our remodels. I’ll also be helping in the creative design of the remodels, which I am really looking forward to.”

How’s your first week been?

“My first week has been great. Everyone’s been very welcoming, and I’ve been doing a lot of training, which I’m very excited about. Learning all the cutting-edge software that we use here and seeing how Nicole (Project Designer) does all the 3D renderings and stuff, I think that’s the coolest thing.”

What’s some work advice that’s had a big impact on you?

“I’ve learned in my early career years, before getting into this industry, is that you really have to do something that you’re passionate about and interested in. And I definitely, at one point, was in a place where I just didn’t really care about the work that I was doing. So it was hard to motivate myself or feel part of something bigger. So now that I’m in the remodeling industry with Quality PM, I feel so excited about what I’m doing here. I feel a lot more inspired, and it’s exciting to come to work every day.”

Any fun facts?

“I really enjoy summer and fall in upstate New York and being able to go on hikes in my spare time and do a little traveling just even in the local area. I love kind of exploring with friends, and I feel like that’s a big part of who I am. And I like to be very active. I do a lot of yoga and running and stuff like that. Oh, and I have one cat named Ted. He has just kind of a goofball personality.”
